Our homely, caring Baby Rooms at St. Michael's Nursery where we endeavour to create a smooth transition form home to nursery for you and your baby.

Many of the Nursery Nurses at St. Michael's are parents, and even grandparents and are able to empathise with parents leaving their baby in a new environment.  We aim to make this experience as easy as possible and encourage parents to take as much time as they are able to ensure you feel comfortable with nursery before returning to work. 

We value each child and give plenty of praise and encouragement and allow the babies to play and explore in a warm, safe and caring environment. The Baby Rooms are well equipped with a vast amount of toys and activities suitable for varying ages and stages of development.

We prefer to focus on small group care and, therefore our rooms are decided to accommodate a maximum of six babies up to the age of eighteen months.

Each Baby Room has its own Bedroom, providing a quiet rest area - similar to baby's bedroom at home. 

We also understand the importance of fresh air - we have our own secure Baby Garden for outdoor play, a paddling pool in the summer, or a sleep in the open! We will often be seen in the vast grounds of the School, or in the village visiting the horses at the farm.
