One Two-Three Year Old Rooms

Welcome to Dragonflies!

Just after your child's second birthday, he/she will join Dragonflies.  We have great fun in this room, plenty of activities and play, based on the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This brightly decorated room is cheerful and light with space for role play, story times, rest , free play and creativity.  To create a homely feel to Dragonflies, we encourage children to wear slippers during indoor play. 

We have our own bathroom where we encourage the children in our care to take the next steps in personal development, in discussion with parents.  The bathroom is child friendly where children are able to wash and dry their own hands - for some, this is a favourite past-time!

We have access to a secure courtyard with outdoor toys, bats and balls, our own gardening area, and a playhouse for role play.  However we are situated in acres of parks and woodlands, and Dragonflies love to splash in muddy puddles, therefore wellington boots and waterproofs are essential.
