Main School - Sport

St Michael’s has an outstanding reputation on the games field and sport is an important part of life here.

Boys and girls have ample opportunity to enjoy the thrills ands spills of competitive sport. There are regular inter school fixtures and the House system adds another dimension to our physical activity programme, with regular inter house competitions which allow all pupils to make a valuable contribution and to feel part of a team.

For the boys rugby, soccer and cricket are the main team sports and for the girls, rounders netball and hockey provide the basis for a rich physical curriculum that is extended through curricular PE lessons.
