The move from pre-prep to main school is an exciting step and one for which the children are well prepared. In years 3 and 4 the emphasis is on class teaching, with additional subject specialists adding to the rich and diverse mix of lessons.
In years 5 and 6 subject teaching takes priority and children enjoy lessons with specialist teachers. They move between lessons more frequently thus encouraging greater independence and personal organisation.
In years 7 and 8 subject teaching is the norm and, as is in all other year groups in the Main School, their day to day pastoral needs are monitored closely by a Form Tutor, who works closely with each pupil to ensure that they are happy and fulfilled at School.
